#wcktm2016 Photography Competition

Hello to all the WordCamp Kathmandu 2016 attendees. We have some great news for you. This time around, we will be having a photography competition for WCKTM. Just click any workshop, announcement, activity, rush, accessibility, happy faces, singles, groups, food, tickets, t-shirts… Just about anything within the WCKTM 2016. On the very day, upload it to your Facebook timeline or Twitter with hash tag #wcktm2016.

The selected top 2 photos will get amazing gift-hamper from WCKTM.  How cool is that?

The rules are simple:

  • No editing the photos or use of filters.

The WCKTM After-party!

The after-party and the after-hours social events of the WordCamp Kathmandu has but one goal – get together, hangout with fellow attendees, have fun, talk, make friends, network and create memories.

The WCKTM after-party will be an evening filled with people getting along and spreading out their circles. The after-party will be held at Moksh Bar, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. You’ll get a coupon for the welcome drink at Moksh Bar itself. We have the hall to ourselves. So join us for an evening full of light and music. Enjoy the music and feel free to dance to the beats.

Book Your Room for WCKTM!

WordCamp Kathmandu 2016 is all set to happen on 19 November, 2016. And that is the perfect time of the year for anyone to visit Nepal. So it’s inevitable for hotels bookings to be packed. It’s best if you book your rooms right away so you won’t face any troubles for hotels later.
We recommend a few places for your stay during WordCamp Kathmandu 2016. Some of these are within walking distance to the venue and some major tourist attractions in the city.

Shaligram Apartment Hotel – Located within a 2 minute walk to the venue in Jawalakhel. This hotel is quite budget friendly and sports a great view of the Ganesh and Langtang Himalayan ranges to the North.

Summit Hotel – Located in Kupondole, this luxury boutique hotel is at walking distance to the venue. It has a peaceful atmosphere which takes you away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city.

If you wish to stay in a more lavish way, then you can go to any of these two hotels:
Hotel Radisson – A 5-star hotel in Kathmandu, it features facilities like a health club, tranquility spa, business center and rooftop pool.

Dwarika’s Hotel – A 5-star hotel located near to the Airport that reflects the culture and history of Kathmandu and its heritage. In addition to the basic facilities, it has a library and a shop where you can buy souvenirs made in Nepal.

If you are coming to Kathmandu from outside the valley, and are looking for a place to stay;
Dev Guest House – Located at Sanepa, it’s within walking distance to the venue and very budget friendly.
